It was great to be interviewed by BBC Radio Devon again, this time by presenter Caroline Densley. Our Founder and Director Clare Matheson, who won the Green Award at the BBC Devon Make a Difference Awards in 2024, spoke about Little Green Change's activities since September, our current programmes and projects, and the benefits winning the award has had.
Our Founder and Director, Clare Matheson, had the pleasure meeting Edward Morello, MP for West Dorset, at The Guildhall in Lyme Regis. They explored a number of ways we can work together in 2025. We look forward to implementing these across schools and the community to promote and inspire environmental action.
On 9th November 2024, volunteers from Westcotts Chartered Accountants joined us to transform an overgrown area at All Saints C of E Primary School in Devon into a child-friendly sensory garden perfect for vital pollinating insects including bees and butterflies, much to the children's delight. Watch our transformation video above.
Directors from Little Green Change were proud to be in attendance at Surfers Against Sewage's Paddle Out Protest in Lyme Regis on 18th May, complete with their homemade banners. This protest was one of many held across the country on this date to highlight the shocking sewage scandal. Pollution of our rivers and seas affects us all.
