We provide environmental education and opportunities for primary and secondary-aged children, both directly in schools and in communities across the UK.

Our aim is to inspire, educate, and facilitate action, benefitting both the planet and people. We do this through our educational Schools Programme, expert speaker talks, assemblies, environmental events, competitions, projects, annual magazine and more.

Rewards Scheme

State-funded schools can gain points as part of our Rewards Scheme by completing lessons and tasks, by taking part in our challenges and competitions, and by attending our events. The more points your school acquires, the higher your chance of winning our termly prize draw. Our termly book bundle is sponsored by Usborne Publishing.

Frequently asked questions

The short answer is no. The programme is designed so it can be delivered by staff with limited environmental knowledge.

Each module has 6 lessons, each with content that can cover approximately 60 minutes. Due to the structure of each lesson, this time can be reduced by teaching parts of it at school, spreading it across different sessions, and/or by setting the rest as optional homework. Perfect for schools with lunchtime sessions that are less than one hour long.

You can start anytime, but we recommend starting at the beginning of a half term, giving 6 lessons to cover this period. When you’ve finished one module, simply complete and return the feedback form to receive the next module, covering a different environmental topic. It’s that easy.

The Little Green Change Schools Programme is free for state-funded schools in the UK. This includes all the online resources, our expert speaker talks, and entry to our termly draw.
