About Clare
Clare Matheson is Little Green Change's Founder and Director.
Clare has years of experience in both the environmental and education sectors, having previously worked for a number of organisations including the Thames Valley Learning Partnership (coordinating this cross-school partnership of 11 secondary-age schools), Tower Hamlets Homes (managing their environmental contracts and helping to bring their grounds maintenance service in-house), Tower Habitats (managing their Biodiversity Grant scheme for schools and community groups), Islington Chamber of Commerce (delivering their Business Waste Recycling Project), and Burnaby Board of Trade in Canada (creating their Environmental Pledge and supporting case studies).
In 2024, she won the Green Award at the BBC Devon Make a Difference Awards, and in 2025 she was included in the f:Entrepreneur #iAlso100 list, which celebrated 100 inspirational female entrepreneurs from across the UK focussing on community and sustainability.
From 2023-2025, Clare was on the judging panel for the Global Good Awards.
In her spare time, Clare has a passion for organic gardening, food growing, and volunteering for environmental and social causes.
